2004 Range Rover was a top-of-the-line model from the British auto maker Land Rover.

Originally it was designed by BMW, which was the subsidiary company of Land Rover then. This sports utility vehicle used the modified V8 engine of BMW X5.

It was provided with 5-speed automatic transmission system. Some of the notable features of this vehicle were traction control system, antiskid system, all wheel drive system, anti-lock brake system, clamshell designed tail gate, protecting tubular side airbags, front torso side air bags as well as air spring suspension system.

For 2004, it came with 19 inch wheels.

Engine

It was loaded with 4.4 litres V8 front engine with a capacity of 4398cc; the bore and stroke are 92 mm and 83 mm respectively, with a compression ratio of 10, and four valves cylinder.

It rendered fuel efficiency of 12 mpg on city roads, whereas the mileage on highways was about 16 mpg.

Power

2004 Land Rover Range Rover was also designed with the multipoint fuel injection system; the output power was close to 210 KW @ 5400 rpm, and it generated massive torque of about 441 Nm @ 3600 rpm.

The head lamps and tail lamps provided a stylish look to it.

It accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in just 9 seconds, and attained top speed of 130 mph.
