It has been almost 60 years since the Range Rover Defender has been introduced in to the market. The special edition, SVX version has been debuted at 2008 Geneva Auto Show.

The exterior of the next generation Range Rover Defender model is spotted with modern features such as silver accents, LED taillights, new alloy wheels and clear glass headlights. New interiors include modern infotainment system, special Recaro seats and more silver accents.
Performance
The new SVX model that is ready to hit the market by the 2010 model year will be the most luxurious Defender car yet produced by land Rover. The new model is equipped with a Duratorq 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that can gain the top speed of 82 miles per hour. Though the previous models were equipped with the V8 engines, the company has stopped using the same engine and newly using the Ford’s Duratorq model engines. The V8 engine was a highlight to the car as it has been in use from the past 50 years.
The base price of the Range Rover Defender is $37,779. The sports model is equipped with all the essential safety features needed for driver and passengers. Apart from the safety features, it is also featured with all the fine exteriors and stylish exteriors.
