The current generation model is a sport utility vehicle that has the capacity to accommodate up to five-passengers and it is offered in two different trim levels- the HSE and the supercharged version.
Engine
The base model, HSE is powered by a standard 4.4 liter V8 engine that can produce power up to 300 hp, where as the supercharged sport model is equipped by the 4.2 liter V8 engine that produces power up to 390 bhp. There are still models for sale offered by the various dealers in the country, powered by V6 engine.
Performance
The V8 engine in the base model can achieve fuel economy of 12 miles per gallon in the city, while it can achieve 18 miles per gallon on the highway roads, where as the V8 engine in the supercharged model also produces the same fuel economy. The only transmission to both the engines is a standard six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
Before going to keep the vehicle for sale, it is better to know the competitor prices offered by various dealers. The acceleration by the V8 engine in the base model from 0 to 60 is 8.2 seconds, while the same acceleration in the supercharged model is 7.6 seconds.
